What a higher score actually buys
Two things, and both are concrete: better colleges and real money.
Admissions. A stronger score widens the list of colleges where your student is genuinely competitive — and at many schools it tips merit aid in your favor before you have even filed for need-based help.
Bright Futures — the money. Florida’s scholarship pays by score tier. Florida Academic Scholars (100% of tuition) takes an SAT of 1330, an ACT of 29, or a CLT of 95. Florida Medallion Scholars (75% of tuition) takes an SAT of 1190, an ACT of 24, or a CLT of 82. The distance between those two tiers can be a few dozen points — and the difference between them is a quarter of your tuition bill, every year.

How we raise it

- Start from the real score report. We read the sub-skill breakdown to find the exact points your student is leaving behind — no generic curriculum.
- Pick the test that flatters your student. SAT, ACT, or CLT — they are scored differently, and one usually fits better. Superscoring means every retake can only help.
- Drill what moves the needle. The specific question types and content that raise this student’s number, plus pacing and test-day strategy.
- Work a real plan. A printable schedule built backward from the next test date, so nothing is left to the last week.
